Art Analysis

Image
Elements Texture: is implied as we are unaware if this art is actual painting or  photograph. Color: are made-up of warm tones and shades  of red, while there is also the hint of tints for the light skin on the face. Space: The portrait represents more positive space (Joan of Arc) with very little negative space. (background) Jehanne La Pucelle also known as Joan of Arc 1412-1431  Joan of Arc a French heroine and military leader inspired by religious visions to organize French resistance to the English. She was later tried for heresy and burned at the stake. Cited:  https;//www.thefreedictionary.com  I  found this picture from a post on social media.  I do not know who the artist is, although I found it appealing reminding me of a warrior.   I would suggest this type of art would possibly be found in a musem or maybe even a gallery.

Intro Blog

Hello My name is Jill, I currently reside in Phoenix Arizona. Up until December 2021 I resided in Tok Alaska after coming to Alaska in 2017 for employment. I was working for Princess Holland America.  I am the proud mother of 3 boys. Brent, Codey and Jeremy. My eldest Brent being the artist in the family has always captured my attention.  The artwork I am posting in this blog are the creations he created throughout a ten-year time span. I believe his progress is defiantly noticeable as he started off with a number 2 pencil and proceed to draw on cloth. This Vikings drawing actually gained a 1st place and best in category award at the Orange County Fair in California. I myself am not very artistic, although I do feel I have a good appreciation for art. The second photo is actually an oil painting my son created of his wife, the lion in the picture represents her astrological sign, Leo.                      ...
